woke up to knocking on my door, jennifer asking if i knew it was snowing outside.

pearlgrey sky, white earth and ooooh my head pulses with the buildup of a new cold. think winter's here a little early.

living with a child for a year now, and so i instinctively turn on the news for school closures (only a 2hour delay today). ron is at his girlfriend's (again), and he hasn't even called once to check up on jennifer since he left last night. i'm pretty disgusted after a year of witnessing his disregard firsthand.

for the record, california transplants don't do snow commutes very well.

sooooo not wanting to go out in that.

craving the cuddle of big slippers comforter hot tea and movies with cats and dog pulled close around me.
