still recovering from last week's wedding with the ex-in-laws (three days is a long time to be uber-nice and upbeat), but the wedding itself was beautiful and a success. and mission accomplished on setting that family straight on the fact that john and i are truly friends and amicable and happy in our current situations. i think they finally 'got it'.

i probably should write when i'm a little more together. this is the first sunday in awhile where i'm back on the old familiar drift cycle of deciding what to do with my day as the time kicks by and me still in the pj's. so much to do, so little desire to do it.

and to top that off, my car died the other night. from the sound and smell and the chug of it, i'm guessing it's at least a $500 problem. of which i have none. and so it sits (luckily just outside my house rather than stranded along the highway somewhere). thank the gods for the small favors. and for the bigger favor of not needing the car to go to work. whew.

and for now, i'm off to nap or clean or finish harry potter.

i do love the weekends.
