today it is not raining. i woke up to sunshine through the blinds and i felt a smile.

and i'm still in pajamas. with a long list of to-do's and no desire to do them.

i've been busy. i'm not sure at all whether it's been a productive busy or just a wheel-spinning busy. i did not celebrate the holidays; i worked through them while battling bronchitis. i still have presents to send down to california. i still have presents to buy to send down to california. i still have to visit california.

alphonse is snoring on my bed. it's very tempting not to jump in and join him.

i'm supposed to meet friends for breakfast this morning, but am a little concerned about the seahawk playoff traffic frenzy. i crave coffee and my stomach is growling. how bad could traffic be, really? in seattle? during the first playoff in 20 years? hahahahahahahaaha. whew. good one.

i'm starting a stealthy re-entry here. just the facts ma'am. this is a warm-up.
